Further inland, the hilly pastures of Martha’s Vineyard provide a calm refuge from the world that has attracted celebrities, high profile politicians and visitors wanting just to get away from it all. A complete spectrum of lodging options is available on Nantucket Island, from world class hotels to small family run bed and breakfast inns. Fresh seafood is unmatched here, and the bay scallops harvested from Nantucket Sound are legendary.
